Horseshoe #1 And Hippie Horseshoe

Last night I was painting horseshoes. I am not sure what came over me as I have a fear of horsies. Likewise it is not at all certain why one of these horseshoes looks like Peter Max threw up all over it.

These paintings are watercolors--a medium that I have never really tried to use. And they are part of a bunch of paintings I have been working on over the past month.

This group of paintings is also the first time I have tried to paint in the past 20 years or thereabout. I will write more on this at some point.

Its cool you are painting again after all this time...good for you...keep it up...I would imagine painting is relaxing and addicting...both positive in the this case...

I got very frustrated working with oil. It took to long to set up and clean up and I think I was trying to be something other than myself doing painting back then. I didn't just paint because it hit me to do something.I suppose it is very Buddhist...I just let go of ego (a little bit anyway)
